Gust Jar
The dungeon item of the very first dungeon, and a very useful one as well. It can be particulary handy against airborne enemies, as you can suck them into the jar, and then fire them at other enemies, thus taking two enemies out at once! Also good to have when you need to clean up the ground.
Bombs
What would a Zelda game be without the good old bombs? Not a Zelda game, that is for sure. As always, you use the bombs to blow up weak/cracked walls, floors and dangerous enemies. Once you've talked to the Minish Elder after completing the first dungeon, and leave the Minish Village through his house, you get the bombs in the first Minish house to the south when you are out of the village.
Remote Bombs
In some occacions these bombs are even more useful than the classic ones, as you can decide yourself when to set them off. Fuse a Kinstone with the Minish Elder in the village in the Minish Forest, and go back to where you first got your bombs to get these new and improved ones.
Cane of Pacci
Cane of Pacci is a very useful staff to say the least. With it you can defeat enemies from a distance, turn over pots and more importantly, when you fire with the cane at a hole in the ground, energy will be stored in the hole, allowing you to launch out of the hole with amazing power, jumping much higher than you normally would! It is the second dungeon's main item.
Boomerang
The Boomerang is a traditional weapon which you can actually go without in this game. Doesn't have much special abilities, except you can grab things from a distance, and stun certain enemies. Purchase it at the shop in Hyrule Town.
Magical Boomerang
You can get this upgraded boomerang by fusing Kinstones with Tingle and his four brothers(?). It has the same abilities as the regular one, only it goes farther and faster. Quite useful in certain circumstances.
Pegasus Boots
With these boots Link will be both fast and furious, as he will be lighter on his feet than ever before. A mere swamp won't cause any trouble with these equipped. You get them from the shoemaker in Hyrule Town.
Bow
Link's first choice of all the long-
range weapons, or at least it should be, when he isn't out of arrows at least. It can take out many enemies very fast, without the danger of having to go up close, so it is extremely valuable. Found in Castor Wilds. It can be upgraded with Light Arrow that you can get from Wind Tribe.
Mole Mitts
These powerful gloves add a new dimension to our hero's adventure. Now he can dig himself like a mole through the fluffy grounds of Hyrule, and discover new secrets. You acquire the Mole Mitts in the third dungeon.
Ocarina of Wind
The Ocarina of Wind was created by the Wind People, and will let you use the birds to take you quickly from one point to another. You can only be carried to the special points, which are where you find those statues that blow up. Once you've finished the third dungeon, this item will be yours.
Flame Lantern
By utlizing the Flame Lantern you can finally light those dead torches, and see in the rooms which were previously pitch black. Also especially useful against Gibdos, as you can just set their "
toilet-paper" on fire. This item is hidden in the fourth dungeon.
Roc's Cape
Another very exciting item, this cape will let you jump and almost fly through the air, like Superman, eh, SuperLink! You get it in the fifth dungeon, which is nothing but natural since it is way up in the sky afterall.
Bottles
There are four empty bottles to be found in the game, and you use them to store fairies, potions, food, water and everything else that can be stored in a bottle.
- The first bottle can be bought from the Business Deku at the foot of Mount Crenel.
- As mini-Link, go down through the chimney of the Rupee store, and take that bottle. Feed the food to his dog, and you have another empty bottle.
- Fuse a kinstone with your grandfather, and open the chest that appears, inside is the third empty bottle.
- Fuse the Kinstones with the mysterious walls throughout Hyrule to make the Gorons break through the cave. At the very end of it, you will find a chest containing the last empty bottle.
