Guarding the Fire Temple is the enormous dragon called Volvagia. When Link reaches his chambers, take out your megaton hammer and get ready to use it. When the dragon glides near Link, you must pound his head with the hammer. Once this is done the dragon will perform a number of stunts in his attempt to destroy Link. When he burrows into the ground he may fly out and show off his fire skills, Link should now avoid them since he cannot strike him now. If boulders begin to fall, look for shadows and keep moving to avoid them. When Volvagia peeks his head out from the ground, strike his head with the hammer. Repeat this and the dragon will lay at rest. Claim your heart container and release the Sage of Fire and receive the Fire Medallion.
