Guarding the extremely mysterious Forest Temple is none other than the ruthless Phantom Ganon. This mock of Ganondorf is tricky, but can be defeated easily. In his chamber, there are many murals hanging on the wall in which you can see the phantom riding his horse in. The one painting that creates a purple ripple is where the true Phantom Ganon will jump from. Quickly pull out your bow and arrow and aim at him because he is going to jump across the room into another painting. Successfully strike him a few times and he will fall off of his horse. This is where the battle begins, for you must use your sword alone to kill him. The ghost will emit large lightning spheres at Link who must swing his sword, connecting with the ball, to reflect them back at him. The ball of lightning may go back and forth between them several times, but once Phantom Ganon gets hit by it he will fall to the ground. Quickly rush to him and strike him will all you have, jump attacks work well as they do double damage. Once he is dead claim your heart container and free the Sage of the Forest to receive the Forest Medallion.
