Give the Pineapple to Papahl, the quadruplets' father, to receive the Hibiscus. If you give the Hibiscus to the Goat in Animal Village, you'll get the Letter. Deliver the Letter to Mr. Write to receive the Broom.

Give the Broom to Grandma Ulriria in either Mabe Village or Animal Village to receive the Fishing Hook. You'll get the Necklace from the Fisherman if you give him the Hook, and Martha the Mermaid will be happy to give you the Mermaid Scale if you hand over the Necklace. Give the Mermaid Scale to the Mermaid Statue to receive the Magnifying Glass.
