Gorsty makes his way out one more time and announces that this will be a special guest referee ladder match. Gorsty then proceeds to introduce the ref for this contest - JOHN CENA. This shocks the crowd as Cena makes his way to the ring. Cena gets the mic and says its great to be in the WWWF. Goldberg then makes his way to the ring and grabs Cena by the shirt. Cena tells Goldberg that he's gonna call it right down the middle.
Goldberg then turns his back on Cena, who hits a low blow, allowing Gorsty to hit the G-Force on Goldberg. Goldberg is down, but Gorsty doesn't want to go for the win just yet, he lifts Goldberg up and signals Cena to call for the end, Gorsty irish whips Goldberg to Cena who lifts him up into the F-U, Gorsty then climbs a ladder and goes for a Shooting star press, but Goldberg somehow moves, he gets up and hits Cena with a Jackhammer. Gorsty sets up the ladder in the corner,
Goldberg irish whips Gorsty into the ladder and follows him in, but Gorsty runs up the ladder and jumps on the end hanging over the ring post, catapaulting it into Goldbergs chin, Gorsty hung onto the top rope and now waiting patientley for Goldberg to get up. As he does Gorsty goes off the top rope for a hurricanrana, but Goldberg reverses it into a powerbomb. Gorsty's down and Goldbergs up. Goldberg sets the ladder up and starts to climb. He's one step away from a win, but Gorsty's back up and throws Goldberg off the ladder with an arm drag. Both men are down, but Gorsty is first to his feet, wait, Gorsty's stalking Goldberg for what looks like a spear.....Goldberg up, SPEAR TO GOLDBERG. Gorsty climbing the ladder,and he grabs the prize. Gorsty wins and Cena celebrates with Gorsty before they both say a few words.
Gorsty: Welcome to the EVOLUTION of WWWF. We have come here to prove a point. Sports entertainment is evolving. We have me, and John Cena, the future of Sports Entertainment as we know it. But there's more. We have one more member backstage, and we'll let you know who it is later in the show. But we're sure you'll agree that this man, is one of the best in the business today, maybe the best pure athlete to ever step foot in the W....
They are interuppted by a gleaming Vince McMahon, holding a suitcase.
MCMAHON: Well. what can I say. You two are the best damn people I've seen around here, you got that thing about you that none of these other jackasses. I reward people like you. So here, listen up assholes, please welcome your new, WWWF Tag Team Champions; GORSTY and JOHN CENA!
With that Vince opens the suitcase to pull out the brand new belts and the crowd gasp in shock
We then hear the sound of a car crashing as Mick Foley makes his way out
FOLEY: You wanna just give out titles? Fine. Thats the way you work. But y'see these two? Goldberg and Batista? They deserve something. So, how about, Sunday June 13, live from the Fleet Center, Goldberg & Batista vs. Evolution, and we'll find out who the true Tag Champions are!
GORSTY: You're on Foley, and y'know somethin, we're gonna win, and when we do, we're comin after your big fat ass next!
With that the Evolution leave the ring and head backstage.
