VACANT WWWF TITLE MATCH : Brock Lesnar vs. Shawn Michaels  

'Here comes the Pain' hits the PA system and huge cheers greet Brock Lesnar as he makes his way to the ring with a chance to walk out the WWWF World Champion ! This promises to be one hell of a match! Brock poses on the turnbuckles and takes in the cheers and adulation from the crowd! But the roof explodes as 'Sexy Boy' hits and out comes the Show Stopper, the Icon, and the Heartbreak Kid! Shawn Michaels dances his way onto stage as pyros explode all around the arena! He struts his way to the ring and slides in and goes toe to toe with Brock, giving away nearly 5" in height to the former Amateur Champion and All-American. Both competitors are getting huge cheers as they circle the ring and the ref calls for the match to start as the bell rings. The two lock up and Michaels breaks free and trips Brock to the mat before backing off. They lock up again and this time Brock breaks free and gives Michaels the same treatment. The crowd give a huge cheer as the two men back off and circle each other again. The match already promising to be an excellent even contest! Michaels slaps Brock to provoke a reaction but he asks for Michaels to hit him again so Shawn hits a hard right but Brock just turns back and calls for more, once more a hard right by Michaels and Lesnar explodes with a huge clothesline knocking Shawn to the mat. Brock comes rushing at HBK once more but is met by a drop-toe hold and reverse chin lock as HBK looks to slow the big mans momentum! But Lesnar displays great strength and lifts HBK up and puts him on his shoulders looking for a F-Five, but Michaels slides down the back of Lesnar and gets a pin, 1- 2... But Lesnar powers out. Lesnar picks Michaels up and looks for a high angle back body drop but HBK rolls through and hits a dropkick to the back off Lesnar?s head. Shawn springs up straight away in traditional style and clot heslines Brock down, once, twice, three times. Brock staggers back to his feet, Shawn looks for another but Lesnar catches him, overhead belly- to-belly! What an impact! Lesnar picks HBK up and whips him to the corner and follows but HBK jumps onto the middle rope, cross body knocking Lesnar to the mat, and then HBK springs up to the top-rope, moonsault by HBK, cover but Lesnar gets a shoulder up at 2. Both men stumble to their feet and trade lefts and rights. Lesnar swings and misses as HBK ducks and sweeps behind where he hits a German Suplex, what strength by HBK! And again HBK springs to his feet, he drags Lesnar up and whips him to the ropes, looking for a neck breaker but Lesnar ducks and then HBK comes off the ropes, Lesnar looks to toss HBK over his head, DDT! What a counter by HBK in mid-air to reverse his momentum! HBK rolls an arm over Lesnar, another long two count! HBK hits a leg drop to keep Lesnar down then goes top rope and calls for the elbow! He flies but Lesnar springs to his feet suddenly and catches HBK! Spinebust er by Lesnar! He raises Michaels up and looks to hit a backbreaker, once, twic e, three times! But Lesnar doesn?t let go and raises Shawn Michaels above his head, body press slam by Lesnar! Lesnar once more raises HBK up and looks to hit a Powerbomb; he raises HBK up, huracanrana! Another tremendous count er by HBK! He jumps to his feet and begins to wind up the band! He calls for the Sweet Chin Music as he stamps his feet in the corner, Lesnar stumbles to his feet. Michaels charges at Lesnar, duck by Brock and he swings round and uses Shawn's momentum to lift him onto his shoulders, F-FIVE! F- FIVE! Cover by Lesnar 1-2... but somehow Michaels kicks out! Lesnar goes up top! SHOOTING STAR PRESS! Lesnar connects and covers once more, 1- 2...Michaels kicks out again with whatever he had left! Lesnar raises him up, F-FIVE! Cover by Brock and he gets the 1-2-3 and becomes the WWWF World Champion in this hellascious contest! Brock goes to the ropes and holds his new title up high as the crowd erupt!
