Q: Where and at what time do Sikhs pray or meditate?

A: Sikhs worship at any time and anywhere they happen to be by remembering God. An important principal of Sikhism is to remember God at all times by remembering his existance. This not only brings a Sikh closer to God, but also helps him remember that God is omnipresent and always watching over his creation. Sikhs also pray by reading verses from the Guru Granth Sahib Jee and the other Sikh scriptures. A common place for Sikhs to worship together with other members of the faith is their place of worship which is called 'Gurdwara'.
