they saw you as a furniture sailzman, with a good game of pool
but i knew better kauze i?d seen you make the monsters dance
like sock/puppets with button i?s
i?d lye still and watch them quarrel & laff
until the ticking watch would fade into flapping sails
and we?d navigate the unnamed seez, skeyes and deserts
and we?d map out my imaginashon in chiseled pastel details
its all still there
the park we built
the dragon
the kastle
the jesters
the smiles & laffter
but now its just me
travelling a/lone
telling jokes only we?d understand
waiting too hear you laugh
so i kould ask u just a few more questions
wonderING weather itt wood take moor now
than then cheap farmacee elixir and afternoon stubble you used
to cure the nite sweats
