RVD's theme hits and out comes Mr Monday Night! He walks down the rampway but before he can even get to the ring Styles attacks him from behind, he rolls RVD in the ring and slides in himself, he stomps away on RVD before picking him up and ramming him in the corner, RVD begins to fight back but Styles hits a suplex and takes the advantage again. Styles rams RVD's head against the turnbuckle before rolling him up 1-2- RVD kicks out! RVD jumps up and hits a spinning heel kick sending Styles crashing down, RVD hits a leg drop before covering 1-2- Kickout! RVD rolls back ROLLING THUNDER! Cover again 1-2-Styles kicks out again. Styles manages to get to his feet but RVD hits a roundhouse kick, Styles goes down again but gets straight back up, RVD hits a German Suplex, he then kicks away at Styles, Styles stumbles to his feet, RVD attacks again but Styles counters and hits a neckbreaker then covers 1-2- Kickout! Styles hits a middle kick to RVD as he gets up, RVD goes down again as Styles jumps to the top rope, AJ hits a huge Dropkick to RVD sending him crashing back to the opposite ropes and out of the ring, AJ walks over and stomps away on the collapsed RVD, he grabs RVD by his long hair and spits in his face! The ref yells at the 2 men to get back in the ring but RVD looks enraged at AJ spitting at him, RVD jumps to his feet and punches away on AJ before throwing him over the crowd barrier, the ref begins a 10 count as RVD looks round, he throws AJ back over the barrier and follows himself before rolling in the ring then back out breaking the count, the ref begins to count again but faster this time, RVD rolls AJ back in the ring but AJ jumps to his feet and hits RVD with a clothesline, RVD is knocked down but gets back up, AJ comes at him again, DDT! Cover 1-2- Kickout! AJ stomps away on RVD again before lifting him up STYLES CLASH! AJ covers again 1--2-- 3! AJ Styles wins his debut match! RVD sits up straight after the count and begins complaining to the ref, AJ mounts the turnbuckle and taunts the crowd as RVD rolls out the ring in disgust, as RVD gets to the top of the ramp he turns round and stares at AJ who has now left the ring and is making his way up the ramp, AJ nears RVD who knocks AJ down with a clothesline before shouting at AJ demanding a rematch, AJ nods in agreement. RVD smiles as he walks off.
