Eddie came out to a good pop as Chavo followed closely behind him, he looked pumped as the Cruiserweight Champion came out, Tajiri took one look at Chavo and spat in his face, Chavo went to retaliate but the ref ordered him away from ringside, Chavo showed the referee the spit on his face but he didn't care much and Chavo was sent packing.
Tajiri controlled the beginning part of this match but Eddie began to fight back hitting a triple suplex then a frogsplash for the win. After the match Kidman and Phoenix were seen standing at the arena entrance having watched most of the match, they slapped Eddie on the back and wished him luck for sunday as he left for the back. When Tajiri came over he was stared down by both men but Tajiri taunted both men with his Cruiserweight Title before Kidman signalled a belt around Phoenix's waist. Will Phoenix triumph this sunday at Survival of the Fittest?
