-The last 20 recent calls are the first numbers displayed when entering this menu
-For quick search of phone directory, begin typing first, last name or company name of users in the bottom field (where your recent calls are logged). This refernces the contacts in your Blackberry's address book.
-To manual dial a number, scroll trackwheel so cursor is in top field and begin typing the number you wish to dial.
-User's PTN is found at the top of the page in Phone menu. This will auto populate once the user has received and answered the first call.
-Click trackwheel and select Status to view phone# and radio id.
While on a call, click track wheel and select Home Screen to return to home icon screen to access calendar, email, notes, etc.
-To 3 way call, while on a call click track wheel and select New Call. Select contact or type in phone number and click trackwheel to call. First caller is put on hold while second call connects. To join all callers, click trackwheel and select Join or to toggle between callers select Swap.
-To dial using alpha characters, hold down the Alt key.
-To call voicemail, click trackwheel and select Call Voicemail. The first attempt may display a field requesting you to enter your voicemail number…enter your 10 digit mobile number in that field and click the trackwheel to continue.
-To autodial passcode when checking your Nextel voicemail, go into phone icon- click trackwheel and choose Options- then Voicemail. Add your voicemail passcode into the Additional Numbers field.
-Use the SYM key to toggle speakerphone on/off during a call.
